Year 3

yearthree

Pupils in year 3 will be 7 or 8 years old, with most of them having their 8th birthday during the school year.  The class teachers are Mr C Baker in Class 3CB and Mr S Bates in 3SB who are ably supported by the TAs –   Mrs Bennett, Mrs Norris and Mrs Teker-Miller.

This is the start of the children's junior school education, otherwise known as Key Stage 2 (KS2) in the national curriculum.  Although there is a definite change in the way we expect our juniors to behave, the teachers know that such changes do not happen overnight, and go to great lengths to ensure that the transition is as smooth as possible. The children have a term of swimming in either the spring or summer term.
