Thanks to a lot of hard work and fundraising by our Parents Association ACSA the children can enjoy some exciting and interesting new markings on the junior and infant playgrounds.

Chris Patterson from Wheelpower came to talk to the children about the Paralympics and how Wheelpower transforms lives by funding the wheelchairs for disabled people so they can participate in sports. The charity is always looking at ways to raise funds and Chris talked about the Tour de Vale event coming up in June.

March 17th 2014 and paralympian Gemma Collis, a former pupil of at Aston Clinton, cuts the ribbon to officially open the school.

Gemma gave an inspiring talk to the whole school about her early life at Aston Clinton and how she became a world class fencer.

Later a film crew from BBC Oxford came to the school to record a piece about Gemmas funding for the next olympic games

     

 

 

The half term ended on an energetic note with the four houses taking part in a "circuits" competition in the hall.
